Dr Dana Garvin's scholarly work centres on the esoteric, occult dimensions of WB Yeats's life and work with an intense focus on collaborations with his wife, George. Dana's expertise lies in the visual and verbal structures within the Yeatses' manuscripts and the unpublished art of George & WB Yeats created after they married in October 1917.
Dana currently strives to bring forth the visual works found in the Yeatses' Automatic Script and related MSS; has created an index and reference site for the Automatic Script, which features striking visual relics from the Yeatses' archives; and continues to identify, examine, and connect unpublished Yeats material to published works in a forthcoming series of books:
Seeking an Image: The Visual Automatic Script of George & WB Yeats
Re-visioned Transcriptions: the Yeatses' Automatic Script and Vision Notebooks
